This is me
Hi all, firstly I am a wife and mother to two very active boys. Teaching them to be their own individual and to stand out in the crowd are big values. I strive to grow confidence and strength to do whatever they what to achieve in life.
I've had many health experiences. Pregnancies, weight loss, injury rehab, sports. I am a big believer in "Doing", if you want things to change then you have to do the do and make changes. I am very driven with goals and love to help people achieve their goals as the feelings at the end are incredible of achievement and with that grows confidence. Confidence is AMAZING!
Taking someone's pain weather its overweight, tiredness, self-esteem, depression, fitness, health issues, there is so many. Working through these and watching the changes in people is truly so rewarding to be on the journey with them. Giving people especially women the confidence to look in the mirror and love their body.
I developed my love for strength training after a sporting injury as I felt very weak. This is when picking up weights changed my life!
Some home truths
My result have been life changing.
How did I do it? Got off my arse and started doing something about it. If nothing changes, then nothing will, you will stay the same.
You are the way you are because you put yourself there, no one else did.
Its never too late to make changes.
Once you start owning your shit then your ready for change.
Once you accept that changes take time and commitment, great things will happen.
Good things take time, to build muscle takes time, to loose body fat takes time don't expect to change overnight when your body has been the same for years.
Consistency is the key to success
Powerlifting, this is what's incredible about change.
Discovering what you are capable off.
I never would have thought I would become a powerlifter.
After only four competitions it has taken me to a national level. This is only the beginning.
Once I stopped focusing on the scales
and started focusing on lifestyle habits,
the results started to show. Mindset is key.
Never set yourself up to fail.
Don't do diets, why, because you want this for life,
not 8 weeks right!
You are what you eat.
Make changes you can keep for life!
